The Course In A Nutshell

Learn the foundations of song arrangement theory for Melodic House & Techno. Using real hit records as reference tracks, we carry out in-depth analysis and build our own arrangement templates.

  • Starting from the basics we cover the foundational concepts such as Intro, Outro, Verse, Chorus, Pre-Chours, Drop, Bridge and Breakdown, and Tension and Release.
  • Looking at songs by artists like RUFUS DU SOL, CamelPhat, Keienemusik, and Stephan Bodzin, we carry out in-depth analysis while creating our own Arrangement Templates.
  • As a practical exercise Bound to Divide shows how he goes from 16 bar-loop to full arrangement using the templates we created.
